Escaping the debt trap!

Debt is something that affects almost all of us. I have struggled to find accurate debt figures for South Africans, but there are plenty of sites on the internet that show that as many as 80% of all Americans are in debt.

This is a staggering figure, and a reminder of how much the world has changed since debt was a word that was only whispered in polite society because the shame of it was so great. Now we are bombarded on all sides by organisations and retailers making it easy for us to get into debt, and for many people it seems like an impossible dream to ever live debt free.

Being in debt can feel like you’re spiraling out of control. Buying a new house or car, even taking a holiday can feel very far out of your reach.

The good news is that there are solutions. And when I say solutions, I don’t mean the debt counseling type of solution which just consolidates your debt and can cost you thousands of rands.

What I am talking about – and what I am spending some time training others to understand – is that it is possible to work out your own plan and personally take accountability to get out of debt. The only cost is for the training of about R950.

We call it the G.O.O.D (Get Out Of Debt) Plan and it will help you to be completely debt free in around three years. And because we know that getting out of debt is not enough, we also help you to set up a wealth creation plan.

I am so enjoying every workshop we present. Recently we showed the G.O.O.D plan to a group of factory workers, and it was really rewarding to know that they will be able to change their lives and those of their children as they escape the debt trap.

Let me know if you’d like to find out more.
